Phillis Wheatley Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized in Haymarket, Virginia, on October 11, 2020.

The chapter meets on the second Sunday of the month, September through May. We meet via Zoom primarily and in person when possible. Please contact us for more information about joining us for a chapter meeting.

The Phillis Wheatley Chapter, NSDAR, is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women. With a focus on education, patriotism, and historic preservation, the chapter provides opportunities for women to make a positive impact in their local area.

Through various programs and events, members of the chapter work to promote the ideals of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and inspire others to do the same. Join us in our mission to empower women and make a difference in our communities.

The women who make up our membership are varied and come from all walks of life, yet we share a common bond of tracing our ancestry back to those who helped gain our nation’s independence. We are committed to honoring our nation’s past by serving our communities today.
